Levine Law's founding derives from its predecessor, Levine & Levine, Attorneys and Counselors at Law, a law firm established in New Castle, PA in 1939, by Gilbert Levine.  Gilbert remained with his firm from its founding until his death in 1988.  Norman Levine, Gilbert's son, joined the firm in 1971.  Norman took over the firm in 1988 and remained there until his death in 2005. 

Today, Levine Law, founded by Norman's son, Brian Levine, strives to carry on the principles, ethics, and commitment to clients that have been a guiding force since his grandfather opened his doors in 1939.

Brian F. Levine, Esq

     Mr. Levine, a third-generation attorney, is a member of: Pennsylvania Bar Association -- Real Property Trust and Probate section; Lawrence County Bar Association; and Lawrence County Board of Arbitrators.  Brian received his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law, Morgantown, WV (2002-2005).  His undergraduate studies were at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI (1998-2002).

 

     Mr. Levine is the owner of Levine Law as well as Levine & Levine Settlement Services, LLC and an owning partner in Vintage Settlement and Consulting Corporation, specializing in reverse mortgages.  Brian has also gained experience as a Court-appointed criminal attorney for Lawrence County Pennsylvania Courts of Common Pleas where he has achieved multiple exceptional results for his criminal clients time and time again.  Mr. Levine has also worked as: contract counsel for the California Law Offices of Steve Levy/Court Appearance Professionals; by conducting legal seminars for various nursing homes, businesses, and organizations located throughout PA; and through his expertise and experience, he is also teaching CLE (continuing legal education) classes to other attorneys throughout Pennsylvania concerning title insurance and all related business and legal matters to title and closings.  
 

     Mr. Levine, through his private practice, continually strives to expand his knowledge and apply his skills in order that he may always keep to the firm's mission as well as achieve the best possible results for his clients no matter the area of law under which a matter may fall. 

James F. Eppinger, J.D.

     Mr. Eppinger received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law (2002 – 2005).  Mr. Eppinger also received a B.S. in Business during his undergraduate studies at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA (1998 – 2002).

 

     Mr. Eppinger works as a legal consultant as well as the office manager and director of operations for both Levine Law and Levine & Levine Settlement Services, LLC, and he is also an owning partner in Vintage Settlement and Consulting Corporation, specializing in reverse mortgages..  Some of Mr. Eppinger's duties include but are not limited to overseeing title insurance and closing functions, conducting legal research, and developing case strategies.  While working within all of the firm's general practice areas, Mr. Eppinger focuses his legal knowledge on real estate, small business/contracts, and estate work.  He also assists in teaching title insurance CLE classes.  Additionally, day-to-day business operations include such duties as client development and retention, case management, sales, and marketing functions.     

     Mr. Eppinger uses his combination of business and legal backgrounds to help in achieving the firm’s primary goal which is to honor its mission of trust, commitment, and cost-effective representation through a common sense approach.
